Guys, I have acquired a SARD front bar and rear spoiler. I am in two minds whether to install it, possibly at the same time getting the car sprayed black next year, or to sell the kit, and just respray the car.

I am fairly conservative and do not like the 'hovercraft' look of so many body kits, but I quite like the SARD look.....

That 3 tiered grill vent spoils the look of the car. Prefer the single vent as per the 97+ bars. The rest of it's fine, but with those vents very fugly.

I don't mind it...still pretty conservative and not over the top like some other kits going around.

Yes but then his car would look like every one elses car. If you are going to do that you may as well buy a white Falcadore.

Being different often means hard work (or expensive!) Compare the parts availability and cost of nissan skylines/silvias etc to soarers.

Kinda like my Rafaga, :-)

That grill let that Honda down a bit really and totally ruins that soarer!

Not bad. Have you looked at the Wald kits? It's like a cross between the earlier models with the late 96~ nose... looks nice.

Bomex and other kits with flared lips and skirts etc make the car look like a hovercraft - not my taste at ALL. Wald however is another story - very subtle, and if I'd been able to get a Wald kit for $220 (which is what I paid for the genuine SARD kit), I'd buy it in a second. Here's a darker colour soarer with a SARD kit.

Not at all, I just kinda miss the fact you can just use those kind of cars and dont worry about damaging the door trims or scratching anything as its all pretty basic and solid

I have to be alot more careful in the soarer, But its all part of owning one IMO :-)

Hmm, I know what you mean, I put a projector screen in the back seat a couple of months back - it slid off the seat and punctured a hole in the passenger door trim and I was devastated - and its not like my interior is particularly good or anything to start out with.

However due to my obsessive caution Ive done nothing over the last month! :-) *Touches wood*

In Fact Ive improved it with the New dash lights and resprayed console :-)
