Hello All.

My Soarer's front bumper(stock) is damaged so I thought of replacing it and installing a set of Soarer bodykit(complete).

I need suppliers from Australia(as it is close to my Island).

Can anyone help me by giving me the URL address of Soarer bodykit suppliers in Australia and few ideas about bodykits would ease my problem.

Thank you.

Kind Regards.

Buy genuine mate. The 1997 one looks very nice. You could order it direct from toyota.

Otherwise, you'll need to buy a VERY HIGH QUALITY item, becuase generally speaking, most aftermarket non brand name items have a lot of fitting issues, and that could be a big problem for you in Suva! Do you know anybody who can work with fibreglass bodykits over that way?

Hi Mate.

There are some guys here who work with fibreglass bodykits, actually they have fabricated quite a few bodykits for local Car owners and they look quite good.

I prefer not to get mine fabricated by them as it would cost me alot more then importing it from overseas.

Aaron, Can you recommend me some bodykits please. Mine is a insurance job so I wont be paying anything.

Cheers.

Copied Vertex kits are quite common and they look good too. Just make sure you get it from a reputable supplier :-)

Nope, most of the local body kits have caused hassles during fitment, recommendations aren't a good idea. What happened with the recommendations you got from TIF some months ago?

Actually I need suppliers from Australia. The recommendations from TIF gave me some ideas so am trying to get more ideas and blend them together.

I got a Quote from Carmate something which is around Aussie$2300 including freight but after visiting some other sites, I was confused by the materials that are being used while production.

Some say kit made out of fibreglass are not good and others say that they are.

Me new to this stuffs so need help.

Please help.

Cheers

Fibreglass cracks.

Cheap kits usually cost a lot more to make them fit, so end up costing more than you planned.

Suggest check the kits list on Lextreme.com, find what you like, then work on price and availability.

Apart from that, Google can be helpful.

Edwin, do NOT go with CarMate. They are the worst bunch of people I have ever dealt with. They wouldn't replace my mesh after it fell off two days after I got the kit installed. They denied it was their fault and wanted to charge me for it. Never been back there since.

Colin Kirkpatrick had a nice explosion kit for sale. Genuine, will fit perfect and his price was good.

Check in the for sale section to see if he still has it.

Hi All.

The pic below is what I was getting from Carmate. They say it is made out of Fiberglass and imported from Japan.Any advise about this kit.

Oh and also, can you advise which product is better: Fiberglass or Poly-Urethane.

Cheers

That car looks like it's been modified quite tastefully. Not a big fan of that front bar though.

Sorry, can't answer your question about what material is better though. I'm sure someone else might be able to answer that for you.

poly-urethane is much better as it will flex and bend unlike fibreglass which will break if hit hard

But fibreglass can be easily repaired, provided you know what you are doing.
