Hi guys,
My soarer is almost dont but im having extreme difficulties finding out any info on this front bar as i need a replacement!. The guy i bought the car from doesnt remember but he told me it was a TRIAL front bar. I have seen an identical design on an R34 Any help would be greatly appreciated. Yeah reminds me of the R33 Trial front bar which has been modified to suit a soarer. Friend has one for his gz20 soarer since they are direct fit. There was a thread in here with all these body kits for the soarer, tried searching for that?

Kim, fitment of a kit all depends on the workmanship of the fitter. If he tries too hard to make it stay in place, you WILL have stress marks appearing within a year or so.
Doesn't look crash hot after that.. If you don't mind stress marks, then go for it. The CarMate kit can be made to fit, but they're just assholes to deal with.

Well look at the pic of my car for yourself. That bar was from carmate as well, not too bad a fit imo. The only other kit i personally like is the vertex but its too common. All the rest look pretty ridiculous and too ricey. Plus the comments i got from my car where all very very good. my 2 cents

Well I got my entire kit for my V8 from Carmate as well. That was two years ago.
It has fallen off four times during the past two years. But what can you expect from fibreglass?
I wouldn't say the fit was that good either. My current bar from Origin on my TT sits better than the one I got from Carmate.
Not to mention they are the most stingy bastards I have ever dealt with. Within 3 days of having the kit installed, the mesh on the front bar fell off. I went back to have it replaced or re-glued on and the owner said no? He wanted to charge me like $50 to put some new mesh in when the old mesh was perfectly fine. Never been back there since.

i have fitted many kits over the years, i dont care what anybody says, non genuine fibreglass kits never fit, all have to be modified, even that stupid flexy fibreglass kits, more work for the panel beater means more cost to you, Vinh, i agree with you, you were getting ripped off, if they supplied and fitted mesh, they should refit free of charge, no question, shows the crap glues they using,
