I have a mica red 92 TT with the paint code 3K3. It is my understanding that the factory side skirts from the 97 model are available from toyota prepainted and ready to fit for about $250 each.
I wonder if any of the gooroo's know if my paint code extended to and beyond the 97 model? If so theoretically I should be able to get skirts in my colour.
I am forward researching for what will hopefully be my next birthday present.

Stupid ME f**ked up when I was researching the part numbers Ben.
The actual side skirt does NOT come pre painted from Toyota. RH side is part number: 75851 - 24900 LH side is part number: 75852 - 24900
I presume they come in White or Grey
The things that DO come colour coded from Toyota are the strips for the bottom of the door(s).
From 8/96 - 12/2000, the RED's available on Soarers are: Rose Red Mica (3M9), Wine Red Mica (3L4), Red Mica (3N1) & Super Red (3L2) which I suspect is NON metallic.
I'd suggest cruising off to a car paint supply place and see if they have colour sample cards that you can hold against the car to check the closest match to your colour..........then order that code.
If you find the colour that suits, I will be able to give you the part numbers for the door strips to order from Toyota. Or just get any old one and get em sprayed when you do the side skirts.

Thanks for the replies.
I have some 3K3 mixed up in the shed from painting the front lip.I guess if I get around to it I can just paint them myself. Wont be until mid year, as with the new bub and all we are back to one wage. Besides I have gone a little spending spree over the christmas holidays and need to let up a bit!

Those little strips on the bottom of our '97 doors stood out from the rest of the car- they aren't a good match (at least when the paint is a little aged). They were painted when we had the shipping/Japanese body damage done.
