Hi guys, i'm in desperate need of some help as my car has a number of problems and i'm hoping someone here can help me out with some information...the problems are as follows: unfortunately I recently had an accident in my car (91 soarer tt fsg colour), where my window was down and i've hit the drivers side door and the window glass has smashed inside the door... Now I don't exactly know what to do to fix it, and on top of that i think my auto has blown because it does not reverse at all, and when it is in drive the gears ''slip'' and the car doesn't go passed 75km/h or so. The other problem is something is wrong with my dash :S. The lights below the speedo have gone out (where it sais if your door is open etc) and the radio now no longer plays any FM stations at all. I love my car and am dying to get it back to scratch I just don't know how.. Any help is MUCH appreciated..

Sorry I can't help mate, but there's a lot of helpful folk in Melbourne who will hopefully give you a hand..........I'm not much use as I'm in NZ, but I could pop over after tea and give ya a hand HAHAHAHA!

All the best with it bud.

Possibly the easiest fix for the door/window would be to source a second hand one from the wreckers. Or just swap the whole door over.

Do a search for Blinky Dash for your dash problems.

Check that the aerial or the expander wires under the back seat(if it's the factory stereo) hasn't been knocked out with the impact.

Search FM Expander for more info.

Have you checked your auto trans fluid?? It may be low.

Otherwise second hand auto's can be found for 4-500ish beans.

And do some more reading, 'cause everything on your list has been covered before. :-)
