Well my drivers door handle just crapped itself, works fine from inside, outside is a different story. What's the easiest fix for this? Is it easier to just get a new handle?

Ya clips probably broken on the actuating rod.......

Not unusual, and easily fixed. Do a search using <handle> as the criteria.

Do many people have the sense of adventure required to look in the How-to section?

Those clips can be a b!tch to get in, ya hand gets all jammed up there... maybe buy 2 in case you spit it at the first one and take a hammer to it.

I went through this a couple of weeks ago. Followed Pete's walkthrough and it was done in about 15 minutes. With the clip, put it in the handle BEFORE you put it on the actuating rod, it just slides in easily then and you clip it on.

The clip was about $5 or something from Toyota, part number is in the walkthrough.
