You have purchased a car and a supercharger, or supercharged car. You need your radiator top tank replaced, mentioned in another thread. Now, you want the cheapest possible lights. What do you want from your expenditure? Safety? Efficient car? Check your priorities.

ease up buddy. the fact is i'm 18 and i'm shopping around to see if there are any under $450 each not including high beams. why do you think i'm even shopping around? because i know i need new ones and need them now so cheaper is more affordable

Not trying to blast you, Joshua. I support careful analysis of value for money. However, I was wondering about the financial commitment you had made given you now face further expenditures. Sometimes, we put money into performance without allowing for other risk costs; costs which are fairly well-documented on this site.

yeah. no worries. i'm basically just making myself a list and getting prices and all that together then i'm going to like go through and tick things off as i get them. but any lights would probably be better than mine. i upgraded the bulbs to arctic blue and i can still hardly see properly on low beams in darker streets and its a concern cause anything or anyone could race out on the road

For low beams you really have to budget for HIDs at some point if you want to see much more than you do. Make sure you adjust light angle when you get them though. There have been sample photos here showing light outputs from different systems.

There is always the option of opening up the headlights and cleaning them up yourself. Been covered countless times on this forum. Now THAT would be the cheapest option for you, if you are looking to save yourself some money. They can turn out like new if the process is done right. It just requires a bit of hard labour. If you do decide to go down this path though, remember to be very careful otherwise you may have NO lights at all to use at the end of the day.
P.S. Good luck with those glass high beams. They always seem to be snapped up as soon as they are listed for sale. I may know someone who has a set. PM me if you are interested mate.

Step 1 is to remove the Headlamps from the car there are 3 10mm screws holding them in one on under the Hood/bonnet 2 under splash guards.
Step 2 Remove all the silver retaining clips from the assemblies
Step 3 find a flat surface big enough that you can lay the headlamp down.
Step 4 use a heat gun on Medium or hair dryer on what ever setting works for you. Apply heat to the whole bead on one side of the head lamp. Once you notice the adhesive being to soften you can use a small minus/flat tip screw driver to remove the excess adhesive. *(Be careful if using heat gun plastic melts really fast don’t hold in one spot to long)
Step 5 insert small minus screwdriver into a corner start to pry apart once separated insert large minus screw driver and continue down the seam.
Step 6 Flip headlamp and repeat steps 4 and 5.
Step 7 once separated remove the reflective/mirrored section one plus screw. Push in the apply pressure to the corner where the turn signal side be careful not to pull to hard plastic ears will break if not out of there slots.
***If you are going to clean them you can use Plastic polish or Metal polish (I used Never Dull Metal polish worked pretty)
These are my spare set so I can play with them a Little.

The worst part about these lights, I still can't seem to be able to seal my one up properly for some odd reason.
I have done it twice already. Ok maybe the first time was a quick job.
But the 2nd time, man i cleaned that thing so much its not funny how much labor I put into it. Then I sealed it with (I cant remember the name of the silicon type thingy magic I used...its too late brain overheating from maths!!!) left it to dry for two days, made sure every single flippin' hole, crack was covered.
And what do I get for my labor??? Nothing...water still leaks through...Personally I would spend the 450 on each headlight, well worth it I say!!!
P.S. Amunda...not trying to be rude or anything, but those instructions you listed are up on the "common fixes" thread under "cleaning headlights"

I have the same problem Ali, I've tried several times to get a proper seal on my drivers side (passengers side is fine) but it just keeps fogging up in damp weather. This weekend I've put a replacement unit in, which is in better condition generally than the old one anyway, and still has one of its two breather tubes, which I think makes a big difference (old one had neither tube, so was probably letting moisture in that way). I squirted two whole sticks of hot glue into its seams before putting it in, so hopefully it'll at least be a bit better.
I really think a lot of the problems with the old one was the breathing tubes being missing though.

The replacement unit has a very fancy looking breather tube on it, with some kind of filtery looking thing on the end of it, like a tiny pod filter. My left hand light only has two little 90 degree bent rubber tubes with foam in them as you describe Peter.
