My soarer is starting to get some paint flaking on the bonnet. Please see image but apologise for poor quality.

Two questions:

1) Is there anything I can do to prevent the flaky patches from getting worse?

2) What can I do to prevent more flaky patches from appearing that haven't yet manifested themselves?

Also I assume the only way to fix the current flaking is to do a 'fix-it' job as already discussed in some other threads. If anyone has any other recommendation it would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like clear coat lifting? Not much you can do except get it resprayed.

Keeping a good coat of wax on the car will certainly help maintain the finish.
