Dale, car bra's usually just hook onto the existing bits and don't supply or require extra fittings.

hey I'm not looking for horse power, it just rusty s.hit on the front of my car. is there a point to them? Do they lower wind resistance or balance the headlight toplenickle? seriously

Take them off, but put the clips back in as Sam said.They are there to hold the front bar on.Even though there is a sh1t load of screws and clips holding the front bar on anyway.

sam is correct, they just hold the bumper up to the alloy reinforcment behind. dont get rid of them just remove them, paint the metal brackets nice and put them back - even get new plastic clips. they help stop your bumper moving and making noise while driving an stop it coming off when you hit a kerb :-)
