Hi All,

I quickly need some info before I decide to buy some parts.

I have a 91' JZZ30 and she is getting a new bumper and a new front left H/L. If I get a H/L and a front bumper off of a 96' JZZ30 Soarer would these parts fit straight on or is there some modification that will be required?

Thanks for the help.

I know that they're different but I also know that some people have done it.

Neil would know if it's a straight swap.

Hrmm yea because I have a mate that works at a Toyota Wreckers in New Plymouth and he has a JZZ30 Manual front cut sitting there with the headlights and front bumper still intact.

Unfortunately he doesn't have the left front guard but that I'm more concerned about the headlight and front bumper at the moment as I had a slight accident with the Soarer and the bumper is bent and headlight is broken... :'(

Hrmmm well I've got a full 96' Facelift front bumper with both Headlights/spotties etc all included that I can get hold of.

Now basically teh question is will the bumper fit straight on and will I need to do any sort of re-wiring with the headlights etc or are the plugs universal?

The bar and headlights are a straight fit, the cornering lights/fog lights have a different plug than the 91 models.

lol..yea Darryn it is. I spoke with Trent today and luckily he's got a guard aswell that he's tracked down for me at a very reasonable price.

If it's a straight fit shouldn't be too hard then I was just worried about it not fitting if I buy it. The plugs I shouldn't think would be too hard to rewire if it's just the foggies! :-)

Heh, if it turns out not to be a straight fit and you don't feel like doing the work, you can always onsell to me

Otherwise I'll just have to wait til another one pops up

Yea Darryn will do. :-)

Hopefully there'll be no problems with it though. I don't want her to be driving around like one of those rang south aucklanders with just the big Intercooler sitting in front of the car with nothing else... :P
