Are the seals around the headlight available and easy to replace? eg. can the seals be bought from toyota? My passenger side healdight had begun to let in water as 1 point of the seal is worn.
Having read many of the 'how to's' it seems like it takes a lot of time and effort to get them out and in the oven. I am hoping to buy the seals and get my mechanic to deal with it...if this is possible.

The seals I believe is just a black adhesive used when the outer light/lens cover is fitted to the body of the light. When I resealed mine years ago I just purchased a tube of waterproof sealant from Bunnings. (available in black)
If you can work out where the leak is just use the sealant in that area.
To remove any moisture in the light you can remove the small black breather tubes on the back of the light and leave the light in the sun with these holes facing up (for evaporation)
There are only 3 nuts holding the light in the car.

wouldnt you be better off using a clear adhesive?
mine were resealed with black and i dont like it at all. there was also a tiny hole at the front of the headlight that someone had put there to maybe drain the water, and these holes were filled with that black too.
i really wasnt impressed after paying a load to have the car serviced and have that done.
