Does anyone know if $799.00 is a good price for a full Vertex kit? Cheers.

Chances of it being genuine are slimmer than Nicole Ritchie after childbrith

Hahaha @ $800 for a genuine kit, more like $2400. Oh well, at least the genuine should fit like a glove, and the distrributor is on these forums too.

it will be a copy for that price. if you buy it, as them to pre-fit it, as everyone i have heard of has troubles with copied kits, thay never line up, lights never fit etc.

Dang. Must be a copy then. Would the Veilside kit from CARMATE be a copy also? I think it's around $1250.

You can only get genuine kits (brand new that is) from Vertex Australia. If you get a copied kit most likely you'll run into problems and it'll cost near the same as a genuine to fit properly.

if its a genuine vertex kit there will be serial numbers fibreglassed into each piece. for that price id say fake kit. the genuine is around $2400 i am installing one now on my car and so far after this one id never recommend a fake kit again. the genuine stuff is more expensive to start with but will end up the same price in the end after getting the fake one modded so it will even look like its supposed to fit then alot of them get stress fractures and crack the paint very very easily! if you are after a genuine vertex kit have a look at
www.vertex-aus.com or you can talk to masato hara on our forum he works for zero-one and is the australian supplier of genuine vertex kits.

Thanks Aaron and Jose. It sounds like genuine is the only way to go.
