Looks fixable to me, but probably best to run it past a panel shop.

I think it will be cheaper to buy a 2nd hand bar and then just get them to paint it and put it on.

thay would have to repair then paint the whole bar, will cost more then $200, so maybe look for a good secondhand one.

Take the Soarer to Rhodes and get a quote.

I think it might be cheaper to get a second hand front bumper.

if you want to do it yourself, go to bunnings and buy the diggers fibreglass kit 1, its only a small kit, but will do the job if you plan to do a diy, then just get it painted by a professional painter. save you alot of money

Shei'll fix up mate! ;D

If you get it repaired they will most likely patch the hole with fibreglass so hopefully there shouldnt be any cracks where the damage was, as the rest looks pretty intact?

I'd say get it fixed rather than get another one...

Although it could be an opportunity to get something different to the stock bar?

Ben, when and if you repair it yourself, make sure you remove all paint from the affected area (highlighted in red).
Then, when you patch it, patch from BEHIND, otherwise you will be trying to sand down hardened fibreglass, not fun!! After the fibreglass is set, go over the front with a few thin layers of bog/bondo/bodyfiller, then sand down until it matches the rest of the bumper, prime and paint

Sounds about right actually. Depends if he paints in a dustless environment or not.

Mine cost $600 to repair however the entire front left had split and i asked him to sand and respray the entire bar due to stone chips...

$300!!! man i am putting my prices up all that needs is a scrap piece of bar behind it and melted in with a soldering iron. you would be lucky to use over 300 ml of paint to blend it in then clear the whole bar.

yeah, true. but i am getting my entire front bar repainted because of all the scratches and stone chips, especially on the underlip. plus my bonnet has a nice big ass dent on it from the previous owner - driving on the free way and someone throwing a brick at him.. getting it all done this wednesday.

Is the lexus badge offcentre on the bumper or is it just the angle of the photo?
