Hey
Has anyone got any recommendations for resprayers in Perth who can do light bodywork repair (small scrapes, fiberglass body kit repair etc) as well as a good paint job?

I have a few spots of damage on my front bar and other imperfections over the car i want to get fixed.
A friend of mine is also looking to get his car completely resprayed since his contact closed up shop.

Would rather not pay through the nose if possible as well, but dont want a "cheap" job!

gosnells smash repairs, ask for rick.

he did a top-notch job matching my factory gold paint when i spun it into the kerb last year and damaged most of the passenger side panels. and he was willing to do some wheeling and dealing to avoid delays while waiting for the insurance co. to sort their act out. amd they're fully insurance co. approved.

Callum,

Make sure whoever you choose is real good with fibreglass kits. That bomex style front bar is a right royal pain in the butt to get on/off and lined up straight.

I should know - I helped do the kit installation. Good to see you enjoying the car now. I still miss it.

Thanks for the suggestion Shane.

Hi John, thanks for the heads up on the kit.
I am loving the car. Im fighting hard to keep its condition as top notch as you had managed. So far i have only come across tiny "bumps" in the road with regards to its running condition (for example, idiots backing into it at work >=| ) which is making me feel very lucky, given a couple of friends who have recently acquired their own TT's are running into massive issues with previous owners not treating the car right.

I have to get in touch with Regan at DCI about locating some aircon filters as mine have.. vanished! So i think i might get his opinion on who to see for paint/minor body detailing (he has told me previously that he had a hand in putting the kit on?)

Callum,

Yes I got the kit and put it on at Regans with the help of his staff. Can't remember who did the kit paint job - Memory tells me it was Marius (Bayswater panel and paint ?????).

There never were any aircon filters. I went to change them after hearing about the "dirty filter" threads - none there. I must admit I never bothered about them after that.

Marius matches the paint very well.
No. 2 King street "Car Convert".

Ginos panel and paint in fremantle is good. my family has had a few jobs done there and could not fault the quality of the job. they have also won industry awards last year for their business. I used a certain large business in myaree(no names) and had nothing but problems. Even after taking it back to get them to fix a number of problems im still not happy with the job.
