no carbon fibre bonnet will be ADR approved, might be CAMS approved, but never ADR approved, because the bonnet provides structure and rigidity to the car, a bonnet made from different material changes the way the rigidity will react in the event of different forces applied (ie, an accident), and therefore alters the reaction the car would have compared to how it was designed from manufacturer.

Having said this, IF there is a carbon fibre approved bonnet, I would be VERY interested to see this, as it's more than likely a carbon skin over a stock sub-structure, but would be interesting to see.

They don't make a Soarer bonnet, only a Supra at this stage.

Blitz and Blits are two different brands / suppliers. Blitz is Japanese and Blits is American / Aussie

There was an article in HPI about the blits gear. They went through a bit of pain, but their bonnets are now ADR approved.

They advertise in HPI etc.

Paint your CF bonnet after you take your car for scrutineering. Cops won't pick it but insurance won't pay either if they find out. Your gamble.

Postage will be about double the bonnet, but it's got a few dints in the middle, looking for $100
