Well the work on my car has begun Im doing it all by my self.
Question is while i have the car in pieces why not clean the lights and then it stuck me , i want to paint the insie of the head lights all the silver area black, will this have any effect on how the light works. From what i can see the silver area inside the light assy is not used to reflect but just to look preety.
Thanks guys
*if my writing looks horrible its cause i can only see out of one eye at the moment.*

My headlights are done like that, looks pretty good IMO, especially with the black paint. I didnt do it though, it was like that when i bought it. Apparently it doesnt affect the light, because the headlights are projector, not reflector type.
Heres about the best pic i have where you can see the comparison with non painted lights, mines the one in the middle

good point Ill photoshop multiple scenarios and see what i like, Im also leaning towards doing a Black bonnet/roof/lid so the black headlights would not look too bad.

nope, thats illegal. I pulled them apart and sprayed them. Because we have projector lenses, we are allowed to, but your normal car relies on the lights reflective surface to disburse the light, so on those cars it would be illegal.
