I have taken off my tail light to try to get rid or the condensation inside but can't seem to figure out how to open it with out being too forceful.

Can someone help please?

The same way you open a head light, unfortunately.

I found that jus by taking the headlight out and chucking it in front of a heater for 2 hours cleared all water and condensation.
Didnt need to open them :-)

I drilled 2 small holes on the bottom. No more foggy/water filled rear lights.

Heat gun and very carefully prying it open. That's the easy part. Removing all the sealant and laying new one is the time consuming part.

Karen is right, if you place in a warm environment for an hour or so it will clear the condensation, although it will not fix your problem. If you are getting condensation in your taillights, there must be a problem. Alternatively you can open the lights as Michael said by placing the lights in the oven to soften the sealant and then remove the outer lens. Follow the headlight tutorial.
