I'd be very interested to see what the black high/low beam combo looks like on a black soarer as I was keen on these in the group buy. Post pics when you've got them in

These look great. I just don't understand why they didn't black out the indicator bit as well.. Looks a bit weird there.

Kanchana to take off the bumper you start inside the wheel arch, there is a bolt under the splash guard, then pop the bonnet and under the weather strip(where the bonnet meets the bumper) there is a few bolts. then you need to get under the car and unbolt the bumper from the under trays. i think thats all.

Those headlights Kanchana has are quiet different to the ones on eBay. I mainly see this design used by the yanks on the clublexus forum. Strange yes but can work.

well the bumper was the biggest ball breaker to take off.

well here are some picks, sorry they are not that good because of the reflection and sunlight, but i hope these are good enough for people to get an idea what these headlights look like.

also i sprayed one low beam all black compared to having the chrome tube. not sure which one to have.

also i put in a HID kit, it is bloody awsome

Wow...looks great!!! I especially like the clear part of your low beam (blinker), they match your fog lamps (turning lamps).

These look awesome!
It wouldn't be half as good without the HID kit.

I reckon the black tube looks heaps better than the chrome one, chrome looks like the lights on a Honda Jazz.

Also I think the blinker part needs to be kept that way so that the whole blinker enclosure lights up with reflected light, so it's visible to drivers from the side.

Looks good. I'd go with the black tube, very classy.

Kanchana,
With the head lights is the beams suitable for Australian RHD.

Where is the light beam when you drive.
Straight, to the right of the road or to the left of the road.

well i found them to be focused to the right and up.

i adjusted them as much as to the left so it was centered. i find that the light output is very low and not as dispersed as my original glass high beams. my glass high beams were awsome. owe well..thats trade off...quality/practicality for looks.

thanks all for your comments, i think i am going for full black
