hey guys ive been swimming through the old archives and found this is was wondering its possible to do with something else (they stated that it would crease and the sharpe bends in the window)

Mitch......If you find something that does as good a job without the creasing I got after a few days I'd be very interested to know about it. It's a shame this stuff did that because it looked even better in real life than in the pics......for a couple of days that is. And even after 6 months it still looked perfect everywhere but the really sharp bends around the mirrors etc. |

could you get rip off the stuff from a V8 at a wrecker??
or what about a crome or alloy shop??
are there any professionals that would be able to shed some light on the situation??

I believe in order to put the V8 Limited chrome surrounds on a TT the rear windows have to come out and there's a LOT of work involved. |

The '95 has plain black and I prefer it to the chrome of the later car we have, although the weathershield has covered some of it. It doesn't age too well- corrodes inside. As for adding the striping stuff- more appropriate to a 1984 Commodore than a Soarer! |

Yeah, not sure if you are playing along or not, but the big price tag was because it's HIS car... Not because of the cheap ass chrome lining.
Hell, if thats the case, Alan's car is worth $75,000 including the kit.

I have a 1993 TT with the chrome window trim, would this have been added on or possibly an option? The car was originally dark blue so its not one of those 1992 black & white specials. |

My friend adriana also has chrome window surrounds on her TT.
Her car was one of the "Black and White" series...

Chrome trim, factory woodgrain, no sunroofs, no abs (they dont really turn girls on anyway), rear window wiper, centre console cup holder (THE RARE ONE!), grey crappy fabric interior (not the fancy fabric you can get on the seats).
Thats it option wise i believe.

You know, I think I prefer the "crappy" fabric in my JZZ31 seats to the flasher fabric in my UZZ30 - it looks more modern, grips just as well, and I don't miss the rear pockets. I do miss the extra electrics a bit though. |

Yeah im with you Matthew. The styling on the nicer seats with the stripes doesnt float my boat too much.
I would rather have the 'lectric seats though, even if they are heavier. |

is mine a special one, i got leather interior, woodgrain, sunroof pretty much all the goodies except memory seats. or is it because i didnt get the POV pack...lol |

TT's never had memory seats sorry mate.
Sounds like yours is just a highly specced TT.
There are lots more the v8 limited and uzz32 Soarers could have that the TT's couldnt, like the EMV etc. |
