Following up after purchasing a S/Hand front bumper here on the forum, headlights from the group buy and HID headlight upgrade from Damian Ware, I have finally had the time to install these parts.
What an amazing transformation to the tired front on my Soarer.
I have deleted the side indicator lights, and plan to re-locate them to the mirror housings.
I have also installed the chrome look blinker globes in the headlights (They appear silver until lit), and crystal vision high beam globes (the HID beams overpower them, I may replace them with HID at a later date).
Thanks to the suppliers of these parts, it has given a new look to a great car.

Jason, the B/Bar goes straight on and everything lines up, however the holes in the lower edge of the extruded aluminium impact rail behind the bar cover are at a different spacing for the plastic scrivets, so I left them out. The only time they would come into play is reversing over an obstacle (like Mother-in law)and getting lower edge snagged.

I would also like to say thanks to Andrew McKellar for his help with parts!

there are mirror housings available on ebay.
they clip (or stick) onto the existing mirror.

they have led indicators in them. but they need to be painted.

There was some feedback on these mirror housings here previously, I didn`t do a search for them because, as I recall, they don`t fit that well, and anyway I was just going to drill some holes in the factory housing and epoxy some amber LEDs in there.
Hotronics in Anaheim, Ca. make a light sequencer, that would be cool, I have thought about running the rear blinkers with them. AKA Thunderbird, Shelby Mustangs and California Special Mustangs where the lights illuminate in sequence starting with the inner globe and working outwards then refreshing back to the start again, I need to re-read the tute on the error code for tail lights to do that mod.

When I first got our Soarer Stuart, I thought of doing the same thing ala Thunderbird, and even got around to sourcing a unit from a 65 T'bird, but alas the unit needed a full o'haul, and I lacked the skills (and enthusiasm!) to see it through

I just completed mine last week also. New headlights from the group buy, but I replaced my cracked and broken Vertex copy front bar with a standard one and the car looks great (the car is painted XR8 purple). Only thing is I washed the car for the first time and one headlight fogged up inside. Can't believe I am the only one to get a new headlight that leaks already

Rob, It really cleans up the front of the car, a truly worthwhile upgrade. Kudos to you for the group buy on these lights.

Yeah I was lucky, picked up the front bar with fog lights and grill for $250.00 from a wrecker and another $400 for the rear bar and skirts.
So all up was around $1250 painted.
