I'm looking at replacing my bonnet with a FRP one and would like to see what other people have on theirs and where they got it.
I'm having trouble tracking down a nice FRP bonnet and I might have to get one from japan unless someone can steer me in the right direction. |

I think rampant has real CF ones for around $1300. Better than paying $800ish for a fibreglass one. |

different, but i would put it on, I am going for performance atm and I mainly want the reverse vents, and the 2 side ones are good.

The two main vents are facing backwards towards the windscreen. The vents on the side are actually fake as far as i can tell. If i did get one i was going to open up the gills so they had a purpose. I just didn't want something too over the top. Although i have just sourced a Toyota V12, so i may be selling the supercharged V8.
I haven't seen them in carbon fibre. If they were it would be considerably much more expensive and I don't want raw carbon on my car so I would paint it anyway. |

No big plans yet. It will be a very slow build as i will do all the work myself and it will all be custom. i'll keep you posted. |

i think mustafa is importing cf bonnets bootlids and doors maybe someone might want to get in touch with him and find out pricing etc. I am pretty sure he was getting the seibon stuff.
The best price I could find on the seibon bonnet posted above was about $1k delivered to my door from the US
And then slightly cheaper for the standard cf seibon bonnet (no vents) |
