Resprayed the car 3 years ago and fitted a non genuine Vertex kit which in no time started to crack up and fall apart. Finally restored the old girl back to her former glory with standard bumpers and new headlights. No more fibreglass rubbish for me

The kit disintegrated before I could get any good shots. Even this photo doesn't give a good indication of the colour. It was originally dark blue and we changed it Ford XR8 Purple. I know it doesn't look purple in this shot but it does have a nice metal flake in it. I also elected not to fit a Limited front bar with the lip as we were continually scraping it on driveways etc.

Gary.
take another shot of the car late in the afternoon, in the shade if you can. It will show colour a lot better. Avoid taking pictures at midday when the sun is directly above you and very harsh

Thanks Gary.

I'm now the proud owner of said rubbish body kit. I was planning on throwing it on the track car, but it needs a bit of TLC. And fibreglass, lots of fibreglass. Maybe a side project for next year...

Car looks nice Gary!

No Griffins for it. It was rebadged with Lexus badges when I bought it many years ago. I haven't put the L Badge back on the front yet because I lost the double sided tape the spray painter gave me.

ahhh ben so this is the body kit at the right price :-) lol with some more fibreglassing to reinforce it should be alot stronger. nothing wrong with a bodykit if it follows the contours. and is done properly. just alot of people dont have very good taste.
