Mate, what do you think the bottom pic is of? lol The origin kit has nice lines on it, the only thing I don't like is that the centre opening on the front bar is higher than the side ones, kinda looks a bit odd imho. The main thing is wether YOU like it, don't listen to what we tell you, hahaha |

The fit wasn't too bad. Bought from a forum member in Brissy who decided not to fit it.

| the second pic isnt a ridge its just the normal vertex like mine.. genuine is always a better fit... what you spend on the kit you save on fitting... mine needed no mods or anything adjusted... even comes with the rear bar having the nuts pre-fibreglassed into the bar.... its your opinion... if you are happy with all just pic one. i like the origin kit too but i heard alot of the fitting wasnt the best and they stress fracture really easy so thats why i kept to the vertex. |

| oh yeah and a ridge kit... you have to chop massive amount out of your rear arches... you need new wheels to fit the 3inch wider guards and your turning isnt the best and scrapes on the inner guard cause of the extended wheel offset. |

| The second pic is actually a Ridge kit Aaron. If you take a look at the front bar, you'll see the canards. They're only available for the Ridge kit. I've also got high definition pictures of that car and you can see the widebody more clearly than that crappy picture above. |

| Just out of curiosity does anyone know if you can get genuine Origin kits in Australia anymore or only copies? I know there's always the import option but that kinda sux with the whole dollar vs yen scenario at the moment |

| The origin kit fo sho! Very keen on it.. real sort of simple but effective. Where are you getting the body kit from? I'm at the stage where I want to get one aswell, but would like to know of any recommended shops to get it.. |

| Hello. The Ridge kit is looks like...
the picture that on this thread is VERTEX normal 3p kit. NOT RIDGE KIT. You can see no front and rear guards from the pic.Ridge kit gives you 60mm wider on front and 100mm wider on rear. We have canards for normal 3p kit as well.
we also have front guards for 3p kit. this soarer has VERTEX 3p kit, VERTEX front guards(25mm) and VERTEX canards
Hope this helps! |

| what about a regular vertex kit? Is the ridge worth it then someone above was saying you need new wheels on the back and that the front can scrap inside the guard when turning. |

| told ya the first pic wanst ridge kit lol. you can get canards for std 3 piece kit, yeah with a ridge kit you need alot wider wheels to suit the widebody kit. and that will cause alot of trouble turning if you dont modify the inner wheel well and tub it. a standard vertex kit you can keep whatever wheels you already have on. ridge kit is 2900 but there is alot more involvement in installing it as the guards all have to be lined up aswell and riveted to the original guard on the back and then with wider rear wheels you have to cut you original guards so the wheels dont scrape on it...
