Okay, well I noticed the other thread and I've seen a few others but I couldn't find the answers that I want.
Basically, I prefer the origin kit over vertex, I just love how it looks, but I've been reading about alot of problems with fitting and stress fractures etc.
Would it really be worth it getting Origin or would it be safer sticking with Vertex? If I had to go with Vertex I wouldn't really mind, I do like that kit...I just like Origin better

What comes out of the origin factory seems to be very touch and go. I have a lot of mates with nissans (yes, they are obviously troubled people! lol) and a few of them have bought origin kits. Some required only minor sanding to fit, some had a perfect factory fit while some others were so far away from being right it wasn't funny!

Haha wow, fair enough. I heard that just about all vertex kits are pretty much a perfect fit so yeah. I wouldn't mind paying extra fitting an origin, but the thing I was worried about stress fractures etc. meaning its pretty much a waste of money, and i'd probs end up getting a vertex kit anyway.
While I'm on the subject of Vertex, is there alot of difference between the Vertex and Vertex ridge kits? I can tell a few differences but not alot...and in your personal opinion which is better?

Depends on what Vertex kit you get Justin. If you buy the genuine Vertex kit from www.vertex-aus.com, then you can guarantee that the kit will fit without a single modification (providing the body of your car is still straight).
If you get a Vertex copy, I'd be prepared at the very least to do some minor modifications depending on where you get the kit from.
The Ridge kit is a full widebody kit and is pretty much a big job! It replaces about half of the body panels and cutting up the guards in order to fit wider wheels to accommodate the widebody.

Thanks Vinh. Yeah I was planning to save up for a genuine kit, much safer option...plus I've heard that when buying a copy, sometimes the amount it costs to fit will make buying a genuine kit more affordable anyway. From what you've said I'd probably just go with a normal Vertex kit, sounds alot simpler and more cost effective.
What do you guys think looks better out of the two?
