I've got these rims on my baby. I like them, but I'm of two minds if I should get something that makes the car look a bit tougher. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated as I know you guys are paragons of good taste

Mind you, I do like understated rims, nothing too bling.

im not a huge fan, although i have seen much worse! i think that soarers need something with a bit of dish to them personally. But hey if you like them than thas all that matters, spend the money you would have spent on new wheels on some other mods.

i reckon they look like 'dime a dozen' rims...like the common ones Bob Jane sells for $1099, interest free, to approved buyers...seen similar on dunnydores, falcons, etc etc...but as Jeff said, theyres MUCH worse out there..

no offence intended, Adam...just my personal opinion...

My only critisism is that they'd be easily damaged by gutters...

I agree, get the car lowered and it will make a huge difference to the appearance. Each to his own. **** what other think. If you like them - that's all that matters. Having said that, I personally like the looks of 19's but good rubber is too expensive so 18's is the next best - wide with maximum dish - at the expense of ride quality. I just ordered some 18" ROH modular Adrenline - 9" front, 10" rear, custom fit for 4 pot Supra TT brakes as I like to see lots of slotted rotor. Have a look at a few of the members profiles. There are some great pictures of wheels there.

Dump It... Bit of tyre shine, bobs your uncle!

17s are going for next to nothing at the moment so if you try too sell them you wont get much!
If the tyres are worn consider upgrading before buying new 17inch rubber, otherwise they look fine!

All I can say there are many soarers out there with stock ones on, so as oposed to that yours are great, however there is always best of the best, and which way you go i guess depends on the pocket and desires...

They aren't bad - nice and understated as a Soarer wheel should be. Better than mine anyway!

Thanks for the feedback guys. After checking a few of the pics around the place, I must agree that the car could do with lowering and some dishies. I particularly like what Daniel has done with his car, those are some sexy rims.
