Hey all i was wondering what you guys use for your T10 parkers to get bright white light with a small tinge of blue. Im running 6000K Hids and the parkers im running currently are crap with light light and also amber/yellow. What do you guys recommend for the parkers and where from to be the same colour as the HIDs
Also does anyone know the specs needed for the indicators in the headlight, i wanna get rid of the amber ones and get chrome plated ones to make the headlight look nicer.

Yeah i know about the condom but now need amber indicators without them actually appearing amber through the lense so they need to be chrome coated. Did you get your LEDs from ebay? Can you actually see them physically from outside as they look cheap from the pics on ebay. Plus i dont light having 4 seperate lightsid rather just one large LED is that possible?

David, there are a couple of brands available, basically they are an orange globe with a thin reflective coating sprayed on top. Our have an offset on the bayonet side pins, the silver ones I have found all have the pins at 180 degrees, so I just ground one of the pins down.
Last series Soarers actually have an H3 type bulb for the front blinkers... strange.
Anyway, my LEDs are from my mechanic and have been in there for over 3 or so years now. Because of the way the bulbs are made (and how the lenses are fluted) you can't really tell see what they look like even when they're turned on (unless you come up super close to them).

The best LED sidelights are made by PIAA - really bright and look very nice - not cheap and tacky. For the indicators I prefer the Osram PY21W or 'Diadem' bulbs. These have an almost invisible coating which only turns orange when lit - they look blueish when turned off.
It is quite easy to remove the orange 'condom' from the headlight - just break it out with a pair of long nose pliers and shake out the fragments.

Hi, Having just removed cleaned and polished the inside and outside of my lights I can say reliably say that the orange "condom" is screwed (no pun intended)to the housing with a tiny phillips head screw (Hmmmm) and I promise it will pull out without creating any further difficulties later on. I prefer things to be natural (stock) However read the tutorial my first one took about 20 minutes and the second one about 5 minutes.

David, Pretty much all coloured and white LEDs will have the same colour temperature - it is a characteristic of the materials used to produce the light. Blue, purple, green, yellow, red etc etc. In my experience the white LED is closest to 6000K
