hi just wanted to know if any one knows how to remove it as myn is scratched and im going to paint it ive found that its connected by 2 screws but i tried to pull it off and seems pritty stuck on there any help????

Its not double sided tape. Its a type of rubber paint its like the Plasti Dip paint which is a multi purpose rubber coating paint. Overtime it starts to peel off or flake off. You can either use a blade to cut it off to make it look tidy if you want the chrome look.

The problem is alot of car company's at the time were using stainless steel pieces and covering it up with stuff just like the Plasti Dip but over time it will peel or flake off as nothing really sticks to stainless steel.

He's talking about actually removing the pieces which are held on by double sided tape.

Fair enough then. The link in which you posted is really good the car does look nice with the stainless around the windows. Guess it suits dark coloured cars.
