The wrong windscreen will drive you mad. Ring around and you'll find one. Try National windscreens and some of the other competitors to O'Brian and expect to have to drive to some distant suburb to have it fitted. I had trouble early this year finding a green one in Melbourne, all that was available was clear or bronze.

Its an insurance claim, so I'm limited to Windsceens O'Brian. Bronze or clear would be o.k i guess, but if toyota are not making them are these inferior chinese glass? Adam i see you have a white soarer as well, did you put the green windshield in that one? Cheer

I have swapped all my glass to green. Some of the white V8 limiteds (31's and 32's) were available with green glass and I like it better so I went to the trouble of swapping it all to green. The first Soarer I saw was a white one with green glass and that's what I've always wanted. The tan leather looks a weird colour from outside compared with the bronze glass but I think the car looks better overall. It does seem that the sun has a little more heat in it when it comes through the side windows on a hot day with the green glass.

What do you mean? even if toyota were still making them I can tell you right now that joe bloggs window replacements would not be offering oem $3000ish soarer windscreens supplied and fitted for $300ish!

Spoke to a few different people today. Seems toyota have stopped production of all but green windshield. This means aftermarket outfits have stopped as well. Why, I don't know.I Would have thought greater demand than ever! wankas!!

Yeah, fair enough. But I would've thought common sense would have dictated a neutral clear shield would've been the one to continue. Time to start saving for green turret glass!
