It will make it better in the short term but a lot worse in the long term. I actually havent heard of condensation in the rears bar one Soarer so must be a really rare occurence. You can try resealing them again with more good otherwise depending on what year your Soarer is you might just have to fork out for second hand rear light. Series one been dirty cheap, series 2 about midway and series 3 pretty pricey.

I had standard pre 94 lights on mine and the drivers side always got foggy.
I assumed that they needed resealing or had a crack somewhere in them as at some stage there was some minor damage to the area around the lights.
I replaced the lights with new ones and the same problem occurs. I think it's worth looking at the surrounding area to ensure it's fitting correctly etc before blaming the lights.
I have noticed minor moisture in the boot now as well so believe that water is getting in around the lights due to minor deformation.

i have the supra style lights i have done the oven bake trick and got the lense off and re sealed it with silicon but didnt seem to help much must be a crack in them somewere i guess but buggered if i can find it. matt are you trying to say that if i take my lights out of my car they wont get condensation in them but when in my car they might as they are force in there like the screw are to tight and making slight gaps for water to get in??
