i just recieved my vertex bodykit. i went to go fit it today and the side skirts do not fit at all they are a joke thats what i get for buying a cheap copy kit off ebay i guess. anyway i guess other people have had this problem what did you guys do i guess ill have to slice it in a few places and stretch it and fiberglass it.
is that the best way??

You get what you pay for I suppose.

Take it down to a body shop, they should be able to fix it up for you.

same thing happened to me when i bought cheap from OzKits.

I just sold it off and someone else purchased it and ended up doing what you suggested, cutting, fibre glass it then rejoin.

Pretty common IMO. You'll probably still end up with crappy fitment. That's why I'm getting rid of mine and buying some genuine ones.

That's why I took my copy kit off and gave it away.

Tip 1

research before buying anything.
don't know, ask questions.
WHY is this so much cheaper than the genuine product.
buy RIGHT the first time
if it cost nearly twice as much, there is a reason for it.

good luck with the bodykit.

ps. ask the spray painter how much paint he used to spray the bodykit and buy that amount for touch-ups and respray if needed.
