Well i recently bought a soarer and the headlights were a yellow colour and it looked crap. I used a normal car cut and polish on the outside of them and they came up like new. Only took about 10 mins. Definalty worth trying before going to the trouble of pulling the headlights appart.

Michael, It depends on the headlights, some sets have no choice but to be separated and cleaned inside. Some end up great after a polish on the outside but I think could still look better with a polish on the inside too.

i was going to follow his write up... until i got to repco and saw plastX and scratchX i used plastX first as it is a little rougher then hit it with scratchX and wiped the excess off with a terry cloth. came up really nice.. plus repco didnt have any 2000 grit paper, i rekon with 2000 or finer grit it would come up even better as i can still see the slightest amount of the coating still on there.
