Howdy all,
Here is my car - currently unnamed but goes by the handle of Team Soarer to my mates
Car looks ok as is (to my eyes) .. but i think a set a skirts would really set her off. Maybe a new front
My concern is that I already struggle with speed humps. My area is filled with them. Corerct me if I am wrong, but skirts will make the car even lower.
Has anyone here put skirts on and regretted it because of speed humps?
Also - does anyone have any idea of how much lower the skirts bring you to the ground (say under the door) ?

get a height controller and raise it when going over speed humps...anyway when my car was at stock height it never scraped, ever. and now ive lowered it, and it still doesnt scape anywhere..must be some massive humps

I have factory skirts and even real low they never hit it's always the chassis first. But the front lip is what gets killed.
A height controller is no use if you wanna use it for that cos what are you going to do, drive along looking all cool then.... Ahh there's a speedbump, I'll just pull over here for 5 minutes till the car gets high enough to clear it... LOL
my car goes from max high to max low and max low to high in around a second, but my once nicley painted front lip is now mostly black 100mph tape lol

im lucky enough not to have a scrape yet (fingers crossed!!)usually you try and take things on angles which helps with sideskirts but front bar is bit hairy because soarers front bars hang so far out before the wheels start to go up so if you get a bad driveway or speed hump can be stuffed and fibreglass cracks like a bitch, i would recommend getting a 97 genuine kit if you have alot of speed humps etc as you will have updated looks and the skirts and rear lip but then being original bars it isnt fibreglass so you may get a slight bit of paint damage but the bar will flex alot more instead of cracking..

I was under the impression legit bodykits were made from FRP, so they are more flexible/bendy compared to the hard full fibgreglass ebay knock-offs that crack/shatter easy?
