Fellas,
I have lost my only car key to my car. I was not given any duplicates from the guy whom I bought the car as he himself did not had any.
I have now lost the keys to my car and I urgently needed one to be done or made or whatever the options are, I have access to my car as fortunately I had my door unlocked, so I can gain access to my car but can not drive .
If anyone can suggest an option for me to get my keys done - LOCKSMITH, KEY-MAKER ETC it would be much appreciated.
I am downloading the mannual for my car while I speak.
My car infor: 1992 SC400 V8 4 litre soarer.
Looking for dire help from fellow soarer owners.
Cheers, Mohit

Hrm, in a commodore i replaced the lock in, you pulled out the teeth and the differrent heights were labelled numerically. you pulled out the teeth and wrote it down when replacing a stuffed lock barrel so you could make the same code in the new barrel. On the commodore i think the key code was directly those numbers in order..
I wonder if its possible to pull out one of the lock barrels and if they are numbered, write it down and ask for a key to be cut to that code?

Hi, For future reference the drivers door key barrel has the key code number on it and a locksmith should be able to cut the lot from that. Wire a spare key somewhere.
