My sunroof has been fine for years but is now not tracking properly on the drivers side, which means it doesn't close properly without manually pushing the glass forward. It also doesn't tilt open properly, with the drivers side staying down.

I'm thinking the drivers side has come of the tracks or else something on that side has let go.

Anyone have experience with this type of problem?

Thanks Aaron, I might get back to you to contact your mate if it turns out to be the assy itself.

Me either - I did follow through the SC300 workshop manual to adjust mine about 6 months ago as it had gotten quite rattly. Its exactly the same setup in the SC300/400 as the Soarer, and the workshop manual had full details on servicing it.

Matthew, thank you for jogging my very slow brain...your mention of workshop manual reminded me that I have a copy of the Soarer Bible which I found has a section on sunroof maintenance and/or removal.

Aaron, it turns out my problem is with the driver's side cable which has pulled the embedded plastic clip out.

So does your mate have the cables, either separately or as part of the full assembly? If so can I entice him to part with it?
