Received my soarer about a week ago from a member here on SC. There is a very deep scratch that is on the left quarter panel in roughly this position:

It is on on the actual body of where the body meets the rear bumper, so my plans of getting a vertex kit would not shield the problem.

Here are some pictures:

Thinking about just taking it to the panel beaters to see what can be done. From past experience, is this an easy and none-costly job? or does it take same time and hurt the wallet?

Whole panel will need to be prepped and re-sprayed. Will set you back at least $500 for a decent job I would think.

if you are getting a bodykit when you are getting it fitted and painted get them to fix it up and blend it in will cost less getting it done at same time

I agree with Aaron, get it done when you get your kit fitted, (kill two birds with one stone).

At least. It'll have to be blended into the original paint which times time and skill. I was quoted $800 for a similar job.

I got no idea Paul. The steel is clearly visible and has some rusting happening.

It is also dented, not sure how hard it would be to lift out the dent?
