Not a fair price if it doesnt fit.....i recon you are taking a chance that the kit will need customising when you get it. If you are cool with extra work cutting and refibreglassing then i say go for it...also remember the postage cost mate

Yeah you never know with these copies if their going to fit properly. Sometimes they fit perfectly and look legit, sometimes they are terrible and need a lot of modifying to sit flush. Stuff paying $3k for an original one though

90% of copy kits need fixing here or there. if you are willing to do this then go for it. alot of them the sideskirts have to be lengthened. and few other things. but if you have a good panel beater that can do alot of fibreglass work it is probably ok.

hey Osy i have this copy vertex kit from this supplier. My one needed very little work to fit A1. I didnt need the side skirts or anything lengthened but like Aaron said some do. It is basically luck of the draw but i am very happy with the way mine turned out. Have a look at my profile pic. All up it only cost me just under 2k to buy the kit and have it fitted and painted by the local panel shop. Beats paying nearly 3k for just a genuine Vertex kit only i reckon!

David, does it sit nice and flush against the highbeams at the front?
Warren honestly it sits 99% flush just the tiniest of a gap on the left passenger high beam but nothing worth to worry about really. Unless your really pedantic about it being perfect well your better off buying a genuine one hey. Seriously though it is a copy kit after all, as is to be expected with any non-genuine copy bodykit and you can't notice it unless you look REALLY, really hard for it. like I mentioned before I am stoked the way it turned out anyway. A few other Perth members on this forum have had the same kit fitted, (you know who you are lol.) with the same result as I and are pleased as well. I have read some rather bad disaster stories on here in the past regarding fitment and modifications to make fit well on other vertex or similar type copy kits from different suppliers so it all depends where you get it from.

When I picked up a part from Tony Nguyen, he showed me the copy kit on his and it is shocking. The high beam cutouts sit about 2cm off the body. You could slide your hand behind it. Depends on who fits it also if they can be bothered doing a good job or not.
