hey im just wondering if anyone has pics of soarers with aerocatch bonnet pins. if you have any of them fitted and pics of where the pins are bolted to the radiator panel too.
im just trying to figure out where i think looks good to install them and where the flattest parts are as the base is flat. thankyou

dont mount them personally if there is no reason to, i think it ruins the smooth lines of your car and the fresh paint :-(

Mine are closer to the edges like in your second option. I did this for simplicity (there is plenty of metal in that area close to the edge of the bonnet) and because I retained the factory bonnet catch.

yeah i like the second one too but its going to be hard to find a flat section for them as they are dead flat. And they recommend filling gap with silicone if you cant get it on a flat section lol

I use this for track days for a secondary bonnet catch. Cheap and simple.

What is the purpose of putting those ugly things on your bonnet?

Personally, if you HAVE to put pins on the bonnet, I prefer the traditional chrome pins with the small cable that comes out to hold the pins.

its a funny one hey. you have the ridge kit then a custom bar to suit it. only thing i wouldnt like about that front bumper is you wouldnt have your reinforcement bar still there.

Pretty sure that this is the bonnet your after, they have a few random pictures but the index picture looks like the one you want.

Dont forget to slide a few inches of breather hose over the pin stands, so when the bonnet closes, its nice and snug. Its what you do. Ask any racer, any real racer I mean....etc :-)
