Ok this is probably a stupid simple question but the side repeater indicator on the passenger side if smashed the glass, and bulb, i dont know how/when, i swear it wasnt me. Anyway i have a new fitting/glass/bulb the whole lot. So here is the stipid question...

How the hell do you get to it? from the spare unit i can see it is just 2 bolt holding it in but i can find the damn thing from any angle. i used the search thing and no one seems to of ever writen about changing one.

Tips please???

Remove wheel, remove plastic guard, reach in, replace plastic guard, replace wheel, be thankful that you probably will never have to do this again.

I should also mention that only a foolish man forgets to test everything before reinstalling the plastic guard and wheel.

The last one I removed from a wreck simply by using an 8mm high speed drill like a router and cutting the whole area out of the damaged bar and then just unplugging the indicator. I wasn't going to waste too much time and this took less than two minutes, but obviously this is not an option for you. :-)

You can get by without taking the wheel off but use locktite on the nuts. Don't ask me how I know....
