Anybody recommend good repairer /body shop for Adelaide??

Today on my way to the city someone parked on the side of the road tried to merge with my lane (middle lane) and hit my car in the left rear quarter (around the wheel)

Other car had whole front lower bumper come off and metal bumper in front of radiator almost off too. So I didn't come out of it too bad lol.

How hard?, will it be to get paint matched up as mine is similar to the soarer in the picture up the top left corner of this page.

I had a good job done by Edwardstown Crash Repair. Paint match was spot on.

Looks like it might need a replacement panel - anything else and you'd end up with a lot of filling required. There are some pretty cool pulling techniques available now though so who knows?

Replacement panel is expensive. The rear quarter has to be cut through at the pillar to separate from the roof.

God just my luck hey, Thanks for all the advice guys . Will keep you updated with it.

I still can't believe how it happened to me in the first place though. No speeding and no lane changes as I stayed in my lane the whole time. Guy just hit me as I was going past obviously preoccupied and not paying attention bloody annoying!

But at least it wasn't worse lol thought oh snap my car is probably gonna spin out now...but it only moved a little bit and was fine.

Who cares about the cost? The guy who hit you will have to pay for it, or his insurance (hopefully he had insurance!) Clearly you are blameless so he can't get out of it!

I had very similar damage from an old lady backing into me, I paid an extra 750 and had my boot, roof and other quarter done, which was great because I had the scars on the roof from the wind deflector that's used in japan

Yep your right Matthew, While getting some quotes today, almost all said would need new panel. Other guy has RAA full comp so hopefully I won't have any problems. Think so far quotes will be around 3K worth of damage.

Found out something interesting, One person said it looked like had bog or fibreglass there already from previous accident which probably explains why my left window never goes fully down.

Thanks a lot for all the help guys much appreciated.

David I might also pay a bit more to get a dent fixed on my boot lid, never leave your car in the city on a Saturday night lol .
