I know this has been asked before throughout the years, but a few months ago I remember trying to have a crack at removing the quarter window's exterior mould/surround. But after taking apart the interior window plastics I removed the nuts from the thread of the mouldings, then tried to removed the surround from outside but seemed it was still being held in, it wouldn't even move without some sort of heavy force.
I had already masked the car off the first time to paint strip the paint off because I could not remove them, then painting them again after the metal getting oxidized & me being too lazy do something about it. So now it would be nice to get them off the car without having to worry about my paint work.

It can be done, I have done it a couple of times but requires breaking the clips that hold the surround on to the window but there is a chance of breaking the window t the same time.
The proper way to do it is to remove the windows.
Costa Tsimiklis DieHard Victoria 386.2 rwkw Soon T51R or GT4094
They are Costa. I paint stripped mine all together but then became too lazy to clear coat them & they were just left oxidized until I just painted them Black again, haha.
