Hey guys,

I have just purchased a soarer and the drivers side mirror had the glass broken/missing. The guy that sold it to me gave me a replacement mirror that fits but contains the wrong plug (for electrics).

He informed me that I should just pop out the glass in the replacement mirror and put it in the original.
Apparently one if his mates has done it before by just levering it straight out.

Has anyone done this before? I would rather not break my new glass. Suggestions are welcome!

Also, sorry if this is the wrong section, I found it hard as to what section to pick for this.

Yep, two clips on the bottom and hinged at the top.

Lever under the bottom and pull up and out.

Reverse to reassemble.

Can you do this with mirrors with the Ice Shaker by using normal mirror glass????

Remove them this way?

Yes. There is a little blue plug to unclip once the mirror is lifted.

Replace shake 'n' bake with normal mirror and have the shaker function?

No. Sadly.

Cheers Anthony, I'm just too worried I'll break something :-)

Maybe just cut the plugs off and solder the connections together? It's only left/right up/down and close maybe the wires are easier to change then the glass..
