I seen that the other night too Matthew, that is a SC members car lol.... and I LMAO at the second video, looks like that guard was full of bog to crack off that easily lol.

and yeah, thats my brothers car (Im the one using the jack handle)
only just put in coilovers minutes prior and the guard was rubbing against the tyre so needed a quick solution to make it driveable.

Worked pretty good, gave us enough clearance we needed.

i wasnt worried about the paint coming off, it was just on the inside where you cant see :-)
that other video is the worse example lol, wrong angle, big pole, high speed.....looks like he was trying to flare it more haha...

I purchased a guard roller only to have it fail after 3 guards. Finished off the car with a pole and it probably turned out the best lol

aren't you supposed to heat the paint with a heat gun or hairdryer to avoid it cracking??

It helps Walter. I had to do the guards on the Rx-7 and using a hot air gun stopped the paint from cracking.

Same thing, I just needed the inside lip bent up. I used multi grips, a hammer and a block of wood though. I never thought of doing it that way.
