just replaced my old rusty wiper blade carriers with one piece wiper blade arms from Repco. They are absolutely fantastic almost silent and really shift the water off your screen too. not to mention they look more modern and at $22.00 (trade) each not badly priced (was only bout $5-$7 more retail) if anyone is interested I can post sizes required for Soarer as they come in many different sizes, but the guys at Repco were great came out into the car park and even fitted them on the spot at no cost

Narvy my prices are in Kiwi dollars so not much difference but good value even if they were $50.00 each. Your right they are the shiz.
Just checked the receipt and it doesn't list the sizes just the part number which is RFB20 and RFB22.
If you just measure your factory blades in mm it is written on the pack. The left and right blades are different lengths and the hydra blade standard lengths are slightly longer than the soarer standard blade arms, but they fit just fine and don't foul on anything. Hope this helps.

I agree, anyone still using the old fashioned metal wiper arms should dump them and move to a one piece system - they are just so good. Never going back.

Thanks for the tip, my current wipers were going bad after just a few months on the car. I just picked some up for $22.50 each.

yup they come in just about any size (length) imaginable. So it would just be a matter of measuring your rear blade arm and finding a suitable length replacement.

The Bosh ones are a little fancier looking - but these are a lot cheaper.

They do a great job and they're super silent. Normally I replace my blades and it doesn't rain for months but I have been out in the rain 4 times now and thy work fantastic, they contour to the screen really well too.

I just fitted a set of these and they are very good.

Retail is around $30NZ each but I got them at the boxing day sale so 15% off.

I ran slightly different sizes, I think a 21 drivers, 20 passenger, and 18 rear.

Thread Resurrection!

I have a set of these Repco wipers on the car for a while, but I have noticed they lift badly at highway speeds making them fairly useless and perhaps dangerous.

Has anyone had the same experience and found some air foils that work to hold them down?

Or should I try to find my old wipers and fit new standard blades?

I haven't tried the repco one's but I have the goodyear's on my car, they don't seem to lift at freeway speeds and I've had them for about a year already. Still fine.

Best thing is, they're stupidly cheap (I think I got mine from costco for about $10 each)

Peter, I am using Trico one piece blades on several of my cars, and had them on my green Soarer. No problems with any of them yet, and have had them for over 12 months.

I've not had any issues with the Aerotwins lifing - had them on the car for maybe 4 years now? They are probably due for replacement actually.

You could try bending the wiper arm a little to exert more pressure on the blade if you still get lifting with the Bosh units.

Fitted the Bosch and has light showers today at 100kph - no problems.

Hardly needed them though as I also applied RainX and that made the wipers unnecessary in the conditions.

I don't think bending would help much Matther, they lifted off quite badly at 110 kph.

I do need to repaint the wiper arms though - when I get time.

I use the wipertech Aeroflex ones. Love them. Easy to fit, and no issues at speed. I got them off ebay.
