maybe try some metho spirits or turps using a rag and rub it on the glue Josh, should be harmless enough to melt and soften away the glue. I use it on stickers and old tape residue at work as I am a painter and get that from time to time on certain jobs where I have to prep that crap off before painting! hope that helps.

Josh i presume by glue you mean that 3M double sided tape? yeah just scrape most of the thick crap off with a plastic scraper or filling blade or something like that so it doesnt scratch the paintwork on your car if you accidently slip while scraping the stuff off, then hit it with turps or metho to get the rest off. Which Soarer you taking these off anyway? One of your black vvti's?

I had the same problem.. Go to a paint shop and ask for a "caramel wheel".. Eventually you will find a shop that doesn't look at you like you are a weirdo.. They smell like caramel and you attach it to a variable speed drill and away you go.. Didn't hurt my paint and much quicker than metho or wax and grease remover. Just make sure you don't spend too long on one spot

I find Shellite (cigarette lighter fluid) is excellent for removing deposits of adhesive. Haven't seen any problem with paint. The "caramel wheel" sounds interesting - must check this out!

Eucalyptus oil is also very good at removing sticky residue.
