I'd be interested to know what is stamped into the front quarter panel behind the moulded strip just to the rear of the wheel, on a factory badged Lexus one. I had to remove mine and was surprised to see TOYOTA stamped / moulded into the panel. If it say's toyota what then ??

Yep, just thought if the yank ones have Toyota it would throw a spanner in the the debate, making the whole grey area a bit larger. "If the factory badges em Lexus with toyota stamped in the panel why can't I" or something similar. Mines badged Toyota Wifes is Lexus. What fence?

I know this thread sure did stir some emotion - however I just wanted to know if anyone knows my answer to this one - I was reading up on the 1UZ on an american site (Clublexus) and a lot of them seem to call their cars Soarers too, did they get Soarer's and Lexus's, or maybe they badge their lexus's as soarers??
I dont want anyone to start another fight over this its just a question.

I expect they badged their SC300/SC400 as Soarer because I have never heard that the Soarer name was available there. It is, so far as I know, uniquely the Japanese name for the Toyota JDM vehicles. I wonder if they changed the Lexus badge to Toyota as well?
