Have you got a thread on here for a detailed read about it?

Nah no thread as yet, but i will be looking at eventually writing something up about it once I've completely finished the car, But it will be based on my experience only not professional advice

Yeah it is Acrylic as there is no way i was going to use 2pac in an uncontrolled environment like a garage.

The buffing wasn't the worst part of the job, the wet sanding is the hardest job to get a flat surface which gives you that mirror finish.

Its all about the prep. Awesome job - I never have the patience to get the prep right and end up disappointed.

The best part of all was that it cost me all up around $1,500 of materials using 5 coats of black paint , 6 coats of clear and a bucket load of time and patience...but all worth it in the end.

Originally I was quoted $7,500 from 3 different spray painters just to respray it the original red so when I decided to do it myself I thought might as well do a colour change to what I really wanted.

That looks great Joe. Did you spray the engine bay as well?

I'll be doing the same Jose. Who will be doing the work on yours?

Not too sure yet mate, I was going to go with the guys that do all the fleet stuff for my work but tackling it Joe's way is super tempting.

Only thing is then I'd have 3 black cars to maintain lol
