drive over there and get it done, will still work out cheaper than getting a "proper" job by a shop.

I have found one guy that works in a paint shop , he normally do small jobs in his backyard.. But he told me that if i wanted the whole car respray , It takes about 3-4 weeks .. And he only do solid colours..

$1400 - he will do the sand down and prep work.(apox 3 weeks)

$700 - If you do the prep work (apox 1week)

I'm going to do mine next week and will post some photos when it's done ..

I'm going Dark grey ( Solid Gunmetal )

A panel beater I worked at in Keys Rd, we sanded, spot puttied, and resprayed a black VS SS in the same day, $4800!!

Was a very big spray shop, a lot of insurance work...

I have a bit of panel work to do before anything gets a respray. I am wondering if it would be easier cut out the rear quarter and weld in a replacement straight one. Too much panel beating otherwise.

That's probably what it is. Couldn't expect much for $700 now could you!
