I was browsing through eBay and found these side mirror covers with LED indicator lights.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Lexus-SC300-SC400-LED-mirror-signal-Lights-SC-300-400-_W0QQcmdZViewIt emQQhashZitem1e62e0071eQQitemZ130507867934QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

I've seen these led strips before but the whole cover was something new for me, has anyone got these and fitted them? If so pics or your experience with these would be much appreciated.
With strong Aussie dollar at the moment if these were reliable items I thought it might be worth trying.

i bought a pair, they are simply covers that slip-over your existing mirror. a lot of effort to get it to fit into the stock housing.

Do they finish off nicely in terms of fitment and looks? Pics would be great!

no i have not bothered installing them yet until i do the rest of the body up, all mechanical and electronics for me atm. the fit is slips over the whole assembly, you could bog them in and smooth them off, you wire them in through the existing power mirror loom. there's another member on here who has done what i'm planning on doing with them and that is to use the stock mirros and get rid of the plastic slip on covers. just use the ligght, cut stock mirror and fit. easier said than done. i havent been able to get the mirror apart just yet, afraid of damaging it.

I have bought one from Ebay a few years back. It’s nothing like what you see in the photos. Your mirror will lose the factory (sexy) curves.
I made my merc LED mirror back in last year. it took me forever but the results are just sexy. kept the factory look and still got all the normal factory functions.
