Well wknd to be forgotten.... Redone my fuel pump and fuel filter to a Bosch 023 intank as been having fuel issues..

Went out to see if it would hit boost now so could take it to get tuned.. Save on labour to diagnose fuel problems with the tuner lol.. So went out and couldn't even get traction off boost so basically went 2 blocks then started to head back home and started raining.. So thought stuff this I'll take it out another day and went to go around a corner coming up to my house. Doing atleast a massive 20 kph turned at the intersection and car just went straight and smacked a gutter on front right.. Just looked at my mate and thought WTF happened there!!!! Limped it home and yeah... Smashed bumper buckled wheel and suspected bent tie rod or controlarm as wheel is off now by 45 degrees.... So guessing atleast 3G worth of damage due to price of bumper so will be going through policy and checking it out through insurance..

So moral of story drive your car more so your tyres don't go hard! Last 4yrs haven't done 2000km

I'll chuck some pics up later the damage doesn't look too bad but I'm fussy so I will be replacing everything and will try get vented bonnet spare boot and stuff painted at same time and replace front subframe and control arms (bought some control arms off here but useless ball joints are rooted) and will be getting my xd9's on all round...

Bugger! Yeah rubber only has a shelf life of 5 or 6 years. Silicone compounds last a bit longer I believe.

Aaron does the insurance company payout if you have dodgy tyres?

Can't you get supra lower control arms (different part number/same part) for about 300 each? They just don't suit the v8 soarers with air suspension. Beats bringing them in from the states.

Give James at Castle Hill Toyota a call I believe is the usual advice!
