Yeah had some, they lasted about 18 months, with hardly any use, others have had more success than me. I tried to get them replaced, but they only do 12 month warranty. Its odd, because I have another soarer with stock struts, still fine after 20 years.

If you do the work to remove them from the car and reinstall them yourself you should be able to get the re-gas price down to $50 or lower... especially if you don't need a receipt. The re-gas whole process takes about 10 minutes so it's easy to get done before work or during your lunch break. I personally use this guy in the Northern Suburbs but I'm sure any local business would be equally as good. http://www.gas-struts.com.au/Welcome.html

I've used them - they are good items. Easier than a regas as they are sent direct to your home ! Do that and then offer to sell your old ones for $10 for someone who wants to regas them for themselves.

Found a regasser in Melbourne that comes to you. So, on Saturday a guy will come around and either regass mine or he said he might have a changeover pair and just swap them over. $60 cash. Not too bad, will let you know how it goes.

Re-Gassers are generally full of Quality UES struts are available for $30-$50.
I used to destroy 400nm struts annually on our lunch truck (opened at least 48 times a day 5 times a week) until I found UES replacements for nearly half the price of a regas. Turns out the 're gasser' was just replacing them with new ones and charging me double. C*nt.
